Many of us in the northern stretches of this fine country spend our spring, summer and fall—heck, even winter—targeting the ever-elusive walleye. So it goes without saying, when it comes to catfishing, not all of us are as well versed as our friends to the south.
There’s a ton of ways to catch catfish, but one of the most unique, tried-and-true methods is limb line fishing. Not sure what limb lining is all about? Ever seen Swamp People? It’s sort of like that. Minus the alligators and .22 rifles.
If you’ve got five minutes to spare, our friends at Learn to Catch Catfish compiled this simple how-to video, showcasing this fascinating art form. It’s pretty cool and definitely worth a look.
Keep in mind, limb line fishing may not be legal in your home state. Minnesota, for example, doesn’t allow unattended lines. So please consult your state’s fishing regulations before heading out on the water. And make sure you’re responsible when enjoying this style of fishing.

Think everyone needs to see these new lines ! It makes fishing easier on fishermen!www.limbline.com
